Delta Rae with special guest Noah Guthrie
Six-piece band Delta Rae hails from Durham, NC with Liz Hopkins and Brittany Holljes fronting the robust group with sultry harmonies rounded out by Holljes’ brothers Eric (vocals, piano) and Ian (vocals, guitar) as well as Mike McKee (drums) and Grant Emerson (bass). The band chose their moniker from a mythical story the Holljes siblings’ mother wrote about a Southern girl of the same name who summons the Greek gods to earth.
Headlining over 100 shows each year and a regular on the festival circuit since forming in 2009, Delta Rae’s larger-than-life performances have earned coveted spots at Bonnaroo, Tortuga Music Festival, Austin City Limits, Firefly, Bumbershoot, Summerfest, Hangout Fest, Kaaboo, Basilica, VOODOO, and Lollapalooza. They have received national attention with features in NPR, Washington Post, and New York Times, in addition to late night television performances and inclusion in Forbes' 30 Under 30 list. Delta Rae were recently named One to Watch in 2018 by Billboard, CMT & Rolling Stone.
Now signed to Big Machine Label Group’s imprint The Valory Music Co., Delta Rae are on tour in support of their latest release, A Long And Happy Life, and their latest radio single “No Peace in Quiet.”
Singer/songwriter, Noah Guthrie found fame covering chart-topping hits as well as through his pivotal role as Roderick Meeks on the hit TV show, Glee. He received national attention with his blues-filled version of LMFAO’s “Sexy and I Know It,” which, to date, has received over 26 million views. It's clear to see, however, that his skills are better put to use creating original music. One of the most talked about new voices in Americana music, Noah is steadily building a name for himself as a singer-songwriter. His richly textured voice is capable of conveying the emotion of a lyric as only a handful of artists can in today's music world.
Born and raised in South Carolina, Noah grew up in a home filled with music. Always singing around the house, Noah credits his dad for teaching him to learn his true voice and hone his gift. When he was fourteen, Noah received his first guitar and started writing songs.
Noah's first original album, Among The Wildest Things, established him as an artist to watch. His newest album, The Valley, shows a depth of emotion that proves that Noah will be a musical force for many years to come.
In addition to Noah's recurring role on Glee, he has also performed on NBC's, Today Show and Tonight Show, Hallmark Channel's, Home & Family, ABC's, Dancing With The Stars and was a semi-finalist on season 13 of NBC's America's Got Talent.
Throughout his young career, Noah has opened for wide variety of artists as his powerful, soulful voice and beautifully crafted songs appeal to a wide range of audiences. He has opened concerts for Ed Sheeran, Neon Trees, Ben Rector, Corey Smith, Sister Hazel, Matisyahu, Matt Nathanson and Selena Gomez.
